MARIA P. PERRON
Owner and Interior Designer, Maria P. Perron, has worked in the design profession for over fourteen years. Her philosophy has always been to “listen” to the client, draw from them needs and desires and create their space according to their individual needs. Spend a short time talking with Maria and clients discover her warmth and integrity. They understand she is working for “them” and has their best interests at heart.

Maria received her degree in interior design from Hesser College and has spent time in New York studying her profession. Maria is a professional member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers). She holds certificate #022820 from NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification), the national testing organization that writes and administers a three-part exam on the minimum qualifications for interior design. Maria has served as Adjunct Instructor for Basic Kitchen and Bath Design at the NH Institute of Art in Manchester.

Maria has authored several articles for newspapers such as the Argus-Champion in the New London area, the Laker and Meredith News in the Lakes Region focusing on design and decorating. She has authorized an article on licensing the interior design professional in Builder/Architect Magazine. Her work has been published in Yankee Magazine, NH Magazine, “Color in Small Spaces”, a book by Kimberly Mikula and Brenda Grant-Hays that features four projects. Maria has been a part of six area showhouses and has participated in several charitable events for the Sunapee PTO and the Newport Opera House, as well as Holiday House Tours. Maria was recently publicly endorsed by Discovery TV’s Rebecca Cole of Surprise by Design during the Meredith Home & Garden Show where Maria presented a workshop focusing on the undertones of color in paint and fabric.

Maria is the President of the New Hampshire Interior Design Coalition (NHIDC), a group promoting the licensing of interior designers and has written a bill for presentation to the state legislature.

Maria has been presented with twenty-two awards from the New Hampshire Home Builders & Remodelers Association for excellence in interior and kitchen design. Her skills have been widely acclaimed by clients and contemporaries alike as evidenced in her personal portfolio.
